Origami is a traditional Japanese art of folding paper into beautiful shapes.
In this experience, you will first enjoy folding simple animal origami as a fun introduction. Then, you will learn the story of the paper crane and fold your own with a wish for peace. Finally, we will walk to the Children’s Peace Monument and dedicate your handmade crane.
Through this experience, you will not only enjoy origami but also gain a deeper understanding of Hiroshima’s history and its message of peace.
The whole session takes about 90 minutes, including the walk to Peace Memorial Park. It’s a memorable way to enjoy Japanese culture and connect with Hiroshima’s history.
Your guide for this experience is Chihiro, who will warmly support you throughout.
