In a calm Japanese art studio near Peace Memorial Park, you’ll experience shodō, the traditional art of writing with brush and ink.
Using a high-quality brush crafted in Hiroshima, you’ll practice the basics and create your own Kanji artwork, such as your name or a meaningful word.
With gentle, step-by-step guidance, even complete beginners can enjoy the process and finish a piece they’re proud of.
In the final stage, your calligraphy is turned into a special souvenir, such as a T-shirt or fan, to take home. The serene studio is also great for photos, making this experience perfect for couples, families, and solo travelers.
