広島で着物×書道体験！日本文化を楽しむひととき
ひろしま着物あそびさんと、着物×書道のコラボレーションを行いました！
きっかけは、着物をレンタルする予定のお客様の「書道もしてみたい！」というひと言。
そのご希望を受けて、ひろしま着物あそびさんの事務所へ伺い、出張書道体験を行いました✨
好きな着物を選んで、いつもと違う自分に
まずは、カラフルな着物の中から、お気に入りの一着を選びます。
着付けに必要なものはセットになっているので、着物に詳しくない方も安心。「どの色が似合うかな？」と、選ぶ時間も楽しめます♪
着物が決まったら、スタッフさんに着付けをしてもらいます。
着物姿のまま、書道に挑戦！
着付けの後は、隣のお部屋で書道体験へ。別の会場へ移動せず、そのまま体験を楽しめます。
最初に書道の歴史をご紹介し、広島県熊野町で作られた「熊野筆」を使って、筆の持ち方や基本的な線の書き方を練習します。
書道が初めての方も、一つずつ説明しながら進めるので安心してください。
筆に慣れてきたら、ご自身のお名前を漢字で表したものや、好きな言葉を練習します。どんな漢字にするかも、一緒に考えていきます。
最後は、作品を飾るための厚手の紙「色紙」に清書。お好みでデコレーションを加えたら完成です！
自分で選んだ着物を着て、自分だけの作品を作る。完成した作品は、広島で過ごした時間を思い出せるお土産として、ご自宅に飾っていただけます。

Kimono & Calligraphy in Hiroshima: A Special Japanese Cultural Experience
We teamed up with Hiroshima Kimono Asobi for a kimono and calligraphy experience!
It all started when a guest who was planning to rent a kimono said, “I’d love to try calligraphy, too!”
To make their wish come true, I visited Hiroshima Kimono Asobi and brought our calligraphy experience to their space. ✨
Choose Your Favorite Kimono
First, choose your favorite from a colorful selection of kimono.
Everything you need to wear the kimono is included, so you can simply enjoy choosing the colors and patterns you love. No experience or knowledge of kimono is needed!
Once you’ve chosen your kimono, a staff member will help you put it on.
Try Calligraphy While Wearing Your Kimono
After getting dressed, it’s time for calligraphy in the next room. There’s no need to travel to another venue, so you can relax and enjoy both experiences in one place.
We begin with a short introduction to the history of Japanese calligraphy. Then, using a Kumano brush made in Kumano, Hiroshima Prefecture, you’ll learn how to hold the brush and practice basic strokes.
Trying calligraphy for the first time? I’ll guide you step by step.
Once you feel comfortable with the brush, we’ll choose kanji characters to represent your name or a word you love. I’ll help you understand their meanings and practice writing them.
For your final piece, you’ll write on a shikishi, a thick Japanese art board that you can display at home. Add your own decorations, and your artwork is complete!
Wearing a kimono you chose and creating something with your own hands makes the experience even more special. Your finished piece is a personal souvenir to remind you of your time in Hiroshima.
